About Us
MadBug Preconstruction Services was founded in 2024 by Paul Cripps, a Senior Estimator passionate about construction.
With over 20 years of preconstruction experience on multiple types of projects either as an estimator or bid manager, Paul will bring a wealth of knowledge to any project.
Prior to starting MadBug Preconstruction Services Paul had successfully been working with many main contractors on projects ranging from ยฃ1,000,000 to ยฃ40,000,000 helping them secure work on Traditional, Plan & Spec or Cost Plan tenders.
Over the years Paul has built strong relationships with many subcontractors in all areas and is able to use this to enhance quote returns on tenders.
Being very passionate about what he does Paul goes the extra mile adding value where he can and communicates well during and after the tender to all members of the contractors team, other stakeholders and client representatives.

We can carry out a full pricing exercise or just send out enquiries, do package mark ups or compare tender returns, it is totally flexible and is up to you how much we get involved

Cost Planning

Using our contacts we may be able to help with any bill measurement or tender programmes requirements to further assist in the tender completion
Bid Management
We are happy to assist or take on the bid management role (by agreement) if resources are not available to further assist in the smooth running of the tender.
